This should be a ride.

So a few weeks ago, Ruairi sends me the link to Oh My Gods!, Shivian Montar Balaris's Pagan-themed web comic strip. It's cute. I enjoy it. I start thinking about the various little humorous ideas that have been bouncing around my head for some years now... I realize how simply, yet still effectively, his characters are drawn. I think, "Hey, even I could do that!"

Turns out, I can. Maybe not as well as Mr. Balaris, but for someone who can't draw and had to swap back and forth between Oh My Gods! and Adobe Illustrator every two seconds while point-and-clicking his first character into existence, I think I'm doing pretty well. And I'm still learning. Mr. Balaris's influence on my "style," if you can call it that, should be obvious; but, I like to think, not overwhelming.

So here's the plan. I'm gonna try and post a new strip on a weekly basis, every Saturday, and I'll expand the site with appropriate sections (archives, cast, etc.) as I get the time. Should be doable. I figure, how hard can it be to come up with one funny idea per week, right?
