Overall, the response to PUTF has been very positive. However, I have heard from a couple people who seem to think it's just a rip-off of Shivian Montar Balaris's Oh My Gods!, which did serve as my inspiration to create PUTF. My position on the matter is that while there are substantial visual similarities, there are also several significant differences, both artistically and thematically — Making the similarities more a tribute to his work than a rip-off. As for Mr. Balaris himself, he had this to say on the matter:

I think your strip is fine and I am certainly not going to do anything close to suing you for it. Let your fans know that I don't think your ripping me off and that I feel (in fact) honored that my visual style is being borrowed from.

Mr. Balaris's work gave me inspiration and a great starting point, but as you can see, I'm continuing to develop my own style. This week we meet the Satanist, the first character to sport a new body shape that I'll be using for all characters in future strips. Until the next time I decide to tweak the comic's look, anyway...
